Hot tandoori rub chicken

Sorry guys, no LCB-related posts for the next 2 weeks cause I’m having a short break!! yahoo!! Yeah

Back to the chicken.. I.. er… bought Jamie Oliver’s Flavour Shaker the other day when I went for his show.. I hope its a good buy as I dont have a pestle & mortar or a blender. I guess the FlavourShaker would be great, small scaled wise. So this recipe was found inside the box of the shaker.

1 tsp coriander seeds (I used fresh coriander instead, wahahaha)
1 small dried red chilli
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp black peppercorns (I just used black pepper, cracked)
1 tsp rock salt
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp ground ginger (me not fan of ginger, I used garlic instead)

So ground coriander, chilli, cumin and peppercorns in a pestle n mortar or shaker, till its crumbly, then add salt, paprika, turmeric and ginger. Ground it till all mixed in. Rub on chicken / lamb / meat and panfry or grill or barbeque it!
I blanched some green beans and then toss with the tandoori mixture just to get the flavour. And there, easy quick dinner!

Verdict, yum.. maybe some lemongrass would be great. haha
