Good Living Grower’s Market, Pyrmont

YES! Finally I can make it to this market. I’ve planned to go even when I was still in Malaysia. How unfortunate, I had Saturday classes for the last 3 months. But now, I’m free to go every month! (oh, except that if I dont have to work the morning shift :() But I wan’t able to stay there long enough as I had to rush for work at 10. Doesn’t sound good eh ? Anyway, let’s get to it. Since it’s my first Good Living Grower’s Market, I shot like so so so many photos. Just be ready for the amount of photos. :P

This shot looks like the one that Jen took. Haha. How ironic. We might have probably took it from the same stall ? We bumped into each other in the market. But I’m sure I would bump into other foodbloggers as well, if I’d know how they looked like :P

Fuji Apples. Look at the awesome colours. For a moment, they looked like tomatoes to me

Black Rye Bread

variety of Cheese from Simon Johnson

Lemon butter from blue m food co.

Variety of cakes, breakfast pastries and breads

manualy roasted and grinded sesame sauce. Japanese style from Goma

Cupcakes

Puff-like pastries

Raisin sourdough bread

Honey

Ah… something smells good

Bratwurst with rocket, cheese and eggs with chives, topped with apricot chutney. nice !!!!

Flowers !!!!

and more !!!

It wasn’t just a market, people there tagged their dog along for a stroll on this lovely but, admitly quite HOT weather. Which was good for me, cause I’ve not seen big nice furry dogs for some time.

So, who said it’s all about food ?

For more dog or.. non-food photos. here

Rebecca from CucinaRebecca did a round up on this Good Food Month. So be sure to head over for more post.

The Good Living Grower’s Market is held in Pyrmont Park (opposite Star City) every first Saturday of the month. So, see you next month ;)

What lovely pix, swee :) very evocative of the day!

I’m sure we must have taken that asparagus shot at the same stall because she was the only lady selling that many asparagus. It’s quite funny.
I also mentioned that I would have certainly bumped into more food bloggers if I knew what they looked like!
It was a great day for markets and your photos look amazing. I love all the flowers.

Great photos. And that’s a heartwarming smile on the boy patting the dog (and he’s broken his arm too! awww).
