Noodle Night Market is an outdoor event during the Good Food Month. It’s at Hyde Park from 4th Oct to 22nd Oct, starts from 5pm to 9pm
This is my last chance to go to Noodle Night Market till next year. Cause they’re ending this Friday and I have night classes from Wednesday till Friday
Anyway, I quickly made my way to the Night Noodle Market with my housemate and her colleagues. I was slightly disappointed with the choices as most were Thai food. What happened to wantan mee and prawn mee or vietnamese noodle? Oh well..

Please bear with the not-so-nice photos

Northern Style Pork Sausage with Crispy Sticky Rice and Thai Green Papaya Salad from Banana Blossom. The sausage was nice, so were the papaya salad. But the fried sticky rice, well, it’s like deepfrying uncooked rice. But the sausage did made up for it… $7

Rice paper Spring Rolls. This one was quite nice. The sauce was like the rojak sauce and it gave it a lil saltiness to it. Can’t remember where it’s from…

from Samsudin Satay. Apparently, according to my friends, they were bad. Only the satay was fairly good. $10 for chicken wing, 2 satay, roti canai and a curry puff

this was a mystery dish to me..I don’t know what it’s called or where it’s from (which stall I mean) it’s like chapati wrapped with shredded lamb. Abit of morrocan / Indian type of food

From Himalayan Food. Tandoori Chicken Kebab. This one was nice as well (according to my housemate and her friends)

Black glutinous rice with coconut milk. (Not too sure which stall it’s from, but great flavour)

White Sticky Rice with Mango ( NICE NICE NICE !!!!!) from Yai (or was it Kai….) It’s next to Banana Blossom if I’m not mistakken

Salt and Pepper Squid from East Ocean $6 or $12 for a full box. Uh.. I still prefer Calamari.. the round ones

Sweet Potato Kusabi from Wagamama. $4 . nicely deepfried crunchy sweet potato. Kusabi = mayo and wasabi sauce

Crowd was slowly decreasing as the night went on. It was almost closing time when we left.. for … Sugar Hit !!!
up next. soon. after my sleep
cheers
