Christmas Eve Dinner

I was just thinking how should I put these posts. Should I do a everything-in-one kinda post ? or part by part, dish by dish ? Oh hang on, as I’m just typing these, I thought, I don’t even have the recipes to all the food that was brought to the Xmas Eve Party. *eekk* So I guess, I’ll just put up those recipes that I’m aware of :D

A collage of food that night. My my, looks like a whole lot right ?

Table setting for the night with a beaded ‘christmas tree’. Just ignore the containers and baskets you see at the back, haha.IT’s a house, not a restaurant.

From the other end of the table. We had some vietnamese cold meat and wraps as well.

First up, a mixed salad with mango, carrots, prawns, kiwi, cashew nuts, imitation crabmeat, sweetcorn kernels and a special sauce made by my friend that has a touch of wasabi in it.

Chicken and Mango Salad with Sweet Chilli sauce. Nice and refreshing.

Lamb Ribs

Roast Leg Ham (recipe will be posted soon) This was really nice. yummmyyy

Sweet corn pudding (apologies for the blur shot) Recipe will be up soon as well. This dish tasted really good with the roasted ham ;)

Gingerbread House, that was a gift. I ddin’t make it.

Dessert : Ice Cream (recipe here)

Our ‘Christmas Tree” hahaha, noticed that it doens’t look like a christmas tree at all ??

I guess that’s about it for now…

We had a really fun night, all the way till 8am the next day. We went to La Perouse hoping that we might get to see sunrise, but, unfortunately, the sky was too cloudy for us to catch the sun. :(

Maybe during New Year’s ??? *that’s if we don’t crash out*

Happy Holidays !!!
