I found some ready made pizza base lately in the bread section of Harris Farm. It looked pretty good. pre-caked with garlic, parmesan and olive oil. I guess it would be much better than those from the frozen section.

And so, I made some pizza with the base. I then spreaded some Barilla Tomato and chilli pasta sauce. It was really good. I’m starting to like tomato based pasta sauce to have a tinge of chilli. Then I roughly tore some bacon pieces, sliced some white mushrooms. Then, slice rings of capsicums, I used red and yellow for some colours in it!. Then I also added some cherry tomatoes to give an extra “tomato-ish” to the pizza since I didn’t put alot of sauce.
Then, I wanted to add some cheddar cheese, but to find that it’s moulded. (I’m very careless, I can have food in my fridge, and forget about it..) So, I thought, OK, skip the cheese then.
So I pop it into the oven and bake for 12 minutes till crispy. (Note, using the grill function might be better - the pizza base is softer and the sides are crispy)

When it’s ready, scatter some fresh baby spinach and crumbled ricotta cheese for the extra gourmet kick
It was surprisingly… good! Haha. So, bye bye dominos, pizza hut, or whatever pizza chain available. I was actually quite satisfied with the base, cause it wasn’t too thick (Although I would prefer the thinner crust ones) But this base is already flavourful by itsel cause its prebaked with garlic, parmesan and olive oil. Nice.
PS-- Yeah, If you surf the archives and can’t view the pictures in some posts, I’m really sorry as the photobucket bandwidth has exceeded and I can’t do anything till they reset it (which i dont’ know when exactly) Well, or would anyone wanna sponsor me a flickr pro account ??
Cheers.
PPS: Right, I’m suppose to put up a really cutesy lovey dovey post. I guess I’ll save it for SHF
Be patient!!
